Between walls of classic elegance in Heroes' Square
The basilical building in Heroes Square in the capital, with a floor area of 2300 square metres is a representative exhibition institution for contemporary art.
With its numerous events and conferences, the Kunsthalle is one of the cultural centres and tourist destinations of the capital.
One of the largest contemporary art exhibition spaces in Hungary does not have a permanent exhibition, so it is possible to use the building for other purposes between two exhibitions or even during a given exhibition - depending on the current exhibition - to organise private or social events, standing or seated receptions, lectures, conferences, concerts, photo shootings and public screenings.

The basilica-shaped, 2300-square-metre building in the capital's Heroes' Square was completed in 1896, for the celebrations of the 1000th anniversary of the conquest of Hungary, according to the plans of architect Albert Schickedanz.
The main motif of the building is the six-column entrance portico with Corinthian colonnade. On the back wall is a three-part fresco by Ébner Lajos Deák.
The monument underwent a major reconstruction between 1991-94. As a result, visitors can admire the building's reliefs, floral ornamentation and restored semicircular colonnade with side aisles and floodlit side rooms in their original beauty.
We recommend it primarily as a venue for elegant gala dinners and corporate events in an impressive setting.
The natural lighting in the exhibition space can be controlled or even eliminated completely. The rooms can be used separately or simultaneously, making the Kunsthalle suitable not only for smaller events but also for receptions for up to a thousand people.
The Kunsthalle is an imposing contemporary exhibition space with a capacity of 100 people, elegantly furnished, air-conditioned auditorium with variable lighting, ideal for press conferences, conferences, round tables, lectures, chamber concerts, small stage performances, film screenings.
The room is well equipped with technology: projectors, projectors, large screens, mixing consoles, built-in speakers, interpreters, etc. It can be freely arranged, with variable and movable rows of chairs, and its canvas-covered walls are also suitable for exhibiting graphics, photographs and drawings.
