Surrounded by imposing rock faces and beautifully landscaped, the quarry has been a popular venue for major outdoor events for years.
This protected mining yard is a worthy venue for weddings, corporate family days, team building trainings.
The 3000 m² grassed area has a capacity of 300 people.
The venue can be accessed via a gently sloping road, is fenced off, the entrance can be easily controlled and locked, so that private events can be held in the area can be kept.
The Pál Valley Cave and its 1 ha of land in the abandoned quarry at 162 Szépvölgyi Street were already protected in 1944. This distinction was earned primarily because of its role as a tourist attraction, and it is still a popular tourist destination in the capital.
The Pál Valley Cave is currently 32 km long, the longest cave in Hungary, and has been open to visitors virtually continuously for more than 120 (!) years, with some minor interruptions.
Its 500-metre-long hiking trail is very popular, with more than 400 steps to climb and an exciting excursion underground. The hike takes visitors into a world of fabulous stalactites and unique rock formations that have remained unchanged for thousands of years.
