The Imre Kálmán Theatre in the Budapest Operetta Theatre
After nearly 100 years, the Budapest Operetta Theatre has reopened the Kálmán Imre Theatre, the renovated part of its main building formerly known as the Moulin Rouge, creating a new venue suitable for for private events, conferences, receptions and even special weddings.

The Kálmán Imre Theatre has three special spaces where independent events can be held simultaneously. The theatre's magnificent auditorium has a mobile auditorium and the ground floor podium and chairs can be completely removed, making it a perfect venue for standing receptions and other events.
In addition to the 160-180-seat theatre, the ground-floor Operetta Bistro can seat 100 people, while the upstairs Somossy Salon can accommodate 40 people for a standing reception, up to 250 people at a time. It is easily accessible by public transport due to its excellent location, but there are also several car parks.
